Claire has been working as a professional artist since finishing her degree at UCL in 1997. She has had work in over seventy shows and exhibits throughout the UK, Europe and US. She also has a large number of works in private and corporate collections.

Her work is inspired by a huge range of influences, and has evolved from pure Abstraction through Figurative and highly textural. She feels she has come full circle and is currently working on an amalgamation of Figurative and Abstract themes in large scale pieces for her next exhibition in April 2011.

Much of the variety of Claire's work is a result of her extensive and varied training. She has studied Fine Art, Textiles, Fashion & Costume Design, 3D Design and Photography. Artistically she is inspired by the work of many people from Jenny Saville to Mark Rothko via Reubens.
